Tim Kenesey is the Chairman of Fort4Fitness, his role since he founded the organization in 2007. Since early 2001, Mr. Kenesey has been the President & CEO of MedPro Group. With a rich history spanning over a century, over a billion in premium and $3.8 billion in “float”, a nationwide footprint, and industry-leading results, MedPro is the nation’s leading provider of healthcare professional liability coverage and risk solutions to healthcare providers. Since joining Berkshire, in addition to his role at MedPro, Mr. Kenesey is a director of certain other Berkshire Hathaway subsidiaries. Before joining Berkshire, Mr. Kenesey spent time as an officer at GE Insurance and as a Global Business Development Manager at GE Healthcare. Prior to that, Mr. Kenesey was a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Finance team at global law firm Sidley Austin. Mr. Kenesey began his professional career with KPMG, in both audit and tax positions. Mr. Kenesey holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from the University of Illinois. He and his wife Amy have three daughters.
Pat is a native of Fort Wayne. He is a partner and EVP with Hylant. He oversees the Employee Benefit operation for the Fort Wayne office and has a large clientele of locally owned businesses. Pat is also a co-owner of the Three Rivers Running Company, a locally owned specialty running and walking store helping to grow the sport in Northeast Indiana. Pat is committed to Northeast Indiana and currently serves on the Executive Board for Greater Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana Regional Chamber. He is the President of Northeast Indiana Specialty Insurer group.
Brent is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where he was a Sport Management major. Brent moved to Fort Wayne in October of 2007 just in time for the groundbreaking of Parkview Field in November of that same year. He takes a lot of pride in that facility and enjoys living, working, and playing downtown. The first run he ever trained for was the F4F 4 mile in 2009 and he liked it so much he made it his goal to run the half marathon in 2010. He has been involved with volunteering for F4F since 2013 and can testify that side of things is even more rewarding than running the event itself! Brent is a loyal Wisconsin sports fans, enjoys following the Badgers, Packers, Brewers, and Bucks as well as training for runs in his spare time.
Brian Schackow has worked in Minor League Baseball for the past 17 seasons, beginning as an intern with the Rockford (IL) Reds in 1999. Prior to coming back to Fort Wayne in 2004, Brian worked for four seasons with the Beloit Snappers, the final three as General Manager. With Fort Wayne, Brian was the Assistant General Manager before becoming Vice President – Finance in 2009. In addition to his Fort Wayne duties, Brian is the CFO for Hardball Capital, helping to oversee the finances for Hardball’s other two teams, the Columbia Fireflies and the Chattanooga Lookouts.
Brian is a licensed CPA in the state of Indiana after passing the exam in 2014. He graduated from Ball State University in 1999 with a double major in Marketing and Sports Administration. He also received a PBA Certificate in Accounting from Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne in 2012.
Brian is married with three kids and in addition to serving on the Fort4Fitness board, he serves on the board of the Fort Wayne Trails and is a member of Financial Executives International.
Jon has practiced law in Fort Wayne for over 30 years, having graduated from University of Notre Dame Law School. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, economic development and municipal finance. Jon is a runner and triathlete and is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of Northeast Indiana residents.
Jon serves on the boards of Fort Wayne Trails, Inc. and Kickstart Festival Fort Wayne, in addition to Fort4Fitness. Jon played a lead role in developing the Spring Cycle event and serves as Spring Cycle event chair for the board. He lives in Fort Wayne with his wife and their Golden Retriever, Scout.
Rick Smith, Sr Business Banker for PNC Bank, has spent the past 12 years in the banking industry. As a Business Banker, Rick works to develop new clientele while retaining and growing existing relationships. He uses consultative selling skill to understand liquidity, payments and cash flow needs of business owners, and help guide them towards the appropriate solutions. Rick has a BS in Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Saint Francis. Rick, his wife Crystal and four children live in Fort Wayne.
Mark Wolf has been involved with marketing and promoting Fort4Fitness since its inaugural year in 2008. As Marketing Manager for Tippmann Group, he has managed everything from branding to trade shows for the company since 2002. Prior to the start of his career in Marketing, Mark worked as a sports anchor/reporter at several TV stations in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, including 21 Alive and NBC 33 in Fort Wayne. He is a finisher of the 2006 Chicago Marathon, and has also completed several half marathons. Mark is a husband, father of two kids, graduate of Michigan State University, and has traveled the world on mission trips, sharing the gospel in Nepal, Madagascar, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
Greg Johnson, DO, joined Parkview Health in 2008 and transitioned into his role as Chief Clinical Integration Officer in 2015. He works alongside the Clinical Integration team to further develop leadership skills in efforts of better serving patients and the health system. He also practices as a Nephrologist with Parkview Physician’s Group. Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Medical Officer for Parkview Regional Medical Center and Affiliates. Johnson has a Bachelor's Degree from Rockford College, Rockford, Ill., and a Master's Degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Sarah is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of accounting experience in private industry, specifically financial institutions and manufacturing, and in public accounting. In her current position, she manages the financial reporting process of various incubator companies related to the medical device sales and manufacturing industries, which includes cash management, dashboard report development, and forecasting/budgeting. She also has experience with the preparation of SEC and regulatory filings, vendor management, and the implementation and management of SOX 404.
Sarah currently serves as Treasurer of the board of Aging and In-Home Services, a member of Financial Executives International, a member of the Steering Committee of Women of YFC, and a member of the Finance Committee of Emmanuel Community Church. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Michael, and her two children, Alexander and Addison.
Sarah attended Huntington University from 2000-2003, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
As director of Parkview Sports Medicine, Schoegler is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with area club and school district sports programs and teams, as well as developing new services, partnerships and educational programming.
Born in Dayton, OH, and raised in northern Virginia, Schoegler completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at West Virginia University. He returned to Ohio and served as the Sports Director of WHIZ in Zanesville. In July 2002, Schoegler moved to 21Alive as the weekend Sports reporter until 2012 when he was named the station’s Sports Director. Tommy spent nearly 15 years at 21Alive and created “More of the Score”, “Sound Off”, “Sound off with the Komets”, “Sound Off with the TinCaps”.
