We are proud to announce that the Fort4Fitness Half Marathon course has been selected as an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) State Championship Course!
What is the RRCA?
The Road Runners Club of America is a nationwide organization that supports fitness through running with an emphasis on community-based events (like ours!).
What does it mean to be named an RRCA State Championship Course?
It means that the RRCA has deemed the F4F Half Marathon course as a top-tier course! It has met the RRCA requirements for safety, course quality, attendance, and effectively promoting health and wellness through running, among other important factors for a high-quality course.
What does this mean for runners?
Any Indiana athlete who competes in the F4F Half Marathon is eligible to win an RRCA State Championship award! Competition catergories include the top Open, Master (40 years+), Grand Master (50 years+), and Senior Grand Master (60 years+) for males and females. Thousands of runners compete for RRCA State Championship awards every year.
