The Corporate Connection program is a fantastic way for companies to support their employees.
Through this Fort4Fitness wellness initiative, businesses can incentivize employees to level up their fitness and activity with free or discounted registrations to Fort4Fitness events. Companies can even extend this offer to family members of employees, if they choose.
Employees truly appreciate the effort their companies make for them. Melinda, a legal assistant at Barrett McNagny, has been a participant in Fort4Fitness for the last six years. She was very excited when she learned she could get a free registration through work: "This worked out perfect...and I didn't have to pay for it!"
Melinda encourages other companies to offer this to their employees because it's a "great benefit and a fun teambuilding event" and it has resulted in several employees entering in other races, too.
Alana, the legal assistant who manages the program for Barrett McNagny, appreciates the advertisement perks of being a Corporate Connection. She also commends the ease of the registration process for employees, saying, "Once the employee signs up, they are worry-free and they have a contact to go to with questions."
Alana affirms that the program has been a great benefit to the company. "Aside from encouraging employees to exercise, it gives them the initial financial help to start a productive and healthier lifestyle."
Melinda keeps coming back as a Fall Festival participant year after year. "The atmosphere is amazing. It is so much fun. The day before, the day of and post-race. I also feel better about myself when I finish!"
